Claremont Farmers Market
Sundays from 8 AM to 1 PM in the Claremont Village

A Market With A Mission
Every Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM, the Claremont Village fills with fresh produce, handmade goods, flowers, and friendly faces. It’s a place to shop local, connect with neighbors, and support small farms and businesses.
Behind the booths and farm stands is a bigger purpose.
As a nonprofit program of the Claremont Forum, the market helps fund the Prison Library Project — a nationwide effort to send books and educational materials to incarcerated individuals. When you shop here, you’re supporting literacy, second chances, and a stronger local community.

The Claremont Forum Farmers Market is located on Harvard Ave. in the Claremont Village. (Just across the street from City Hall.) Parking is available throughout the Village.

SORRY, NO DOGS ALLOWED (EXCEPT SERVICE DOGS)
We accept CalFresh/EBT, WIC and Senior benefits at the market.Â

A Claremont Tradition
More than 25 years ago, a handful of local farmers set up shop in the old Rhino Records parking lot, planting the seeds of what would grow into a beloved Sunday tradition.

Since then, the Claremont Farmers Market has become one of eastern Los Angeles County’s most trusted sources for fresh, local food — a place where farmers, artisans, and neighbors come together every week in the heart of the Claremont Village.

We’ve grown, but we haven’t lost our roots. As a program of the Claremont Forum, the market reflects our nonprofit’s ongoing commitment to community, connection, and purpose.

From seasonal produce to handcrafted goods, it’s always been about more than shopping — it’s about building something that lasts.
Local Farmers & Food Producers
We are a Certified Farmers Market
The Claremont Forum Farmers Market is proud to be a California Certified Farmers’ Market — which means everything you see at our farm booths is the real thing, grown by the people selling it.
Before a farmer can join our market, they’re verified by the state to ensure they grow what they sell and follow all California agricultural guidelines. No resellers. No shortcuts. Just honest, seasonal food — straight from local farms to your table.
By buying direct, you’re cutting out middlemen, reducing environmental impact, and supporting responsible California farmers. It’s better for your health, your wallet, and your community.
Each Sunday, you’ll find:
-
Fresh fruits and vegetables at peak ripeness
-
Pasture-raised eggs, local honey, and responsibly sourced meats
-
Artisan breads, flowers, and potted plants
-
All from the people who grew, raised, or made them

Artisans Market
Supporting Local Artists

Every Sunday, the Claremont Forum Farmers Market showcases a rotating group of talented local artisans — from handcrafted jewelry and clothing to ceramics, soaps, home goods, and more.
We regularly feature 8 artists per week, selected from a roster of over 35 creative entrepreneurs. Our market director, Kathy Spear, curates each lineup to ensure a balance of quality, variety, and originality.
These artists don’t just sell their work — they share their stories. You’ll often find them chatting with shoppers about their process, materials, and inspirations. It’s one more way the market brings community, creativity, and connection together.
Looking for something unique? You’ll find it here — made by hand, made with care, and made right here in our community.
