The Forum Bookshop
A great place to find your next favorite read -- whether you're a student, a collector, or just someone who loves books. Most of our books are priced at just $4, and we also carry greeting cards, bookmarks, and journals. Every purchase supports the Prison Library Project.
Used books: love them, leave them.
We're lucky to be in a community that loves books. Each week, generous donors drop off a wide variety of fiction, nonfiction, children's books, mysteries, classics, and more -- all in excellent or like-new condition. That means our shelves are always changing, and there's always something new to discover.
Our staff is happy to help you find something you'll love. And if you have books at home that deserve a new reader, we'd love to have them.
On a regular Monday, our volunteers packed over 200 packages for incarcerated readers across the country. They'll be back next week to do it all over again.
The Prison Library Project
All sales support the Prison Library Project, one of the nation's largest books-to-prisoners programs. Volunteers gather at the bookshop each week to fulfill book requests from incarcerated adults across the country -- people who often have very limited access to reading materials. Since taking leadership of the project in 1985, the PLP has sent nearly a million books to prisons nationwide.
