About the Author

Kevin J Salveson is Chairman of Salvus Corp and President of Extablisment Media. www.extablisment.com

He is also a recovering Morgan Stanley stockbroker, author, teacher (www.dukelearning.com), musician, entrepreneur, and braggart originally hailing from Claremont, CA. He is currently at work on a new novel titled Silphium and publishes regularly at www.ideasmilliondollar.com.

A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Writing, his work includes a novel, a theater piece, screenplays, theater reviews for Dramalogue, short essays, fiction, poetry, and international journalism. (He does, however, refuse to write Haiku).

In his storied career he has labored for The Hollywood Reporter, the Beijing University of Astronautics, Citi Smith Barney, Wells Fargo Finet, and the United Nations Fourth Conference on Women in Beijing. Previously a DJ for 88.9 KXLU-FM's political program Alternative Outlook in Los Angeles, Salveson was also featured as a guitarist in band The Undertoad in the 1990's. He went on to form a rock group in Beijing, China with renowned artist FAZI from the Yuan Ming Yuan artist colony. More on that can be found at www.fazimusic.com. He idolizes David Simon, Hunter S Thompson, Sir Issac Newton and Brian Wilson, among others.

He enjoys motor sports, water-skiing, hiking, soccer, gardening, and ripping on Republicans in his spare time. Problem is, he has no spare time... so he made it a professional calling.
