Earlier this year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our Prison Library Project donors and the dedication of our amazing volunteers, we delivered boxes of books to three women’s prisons. These boxes were brimming with invaluable resources on parenting and pregnancy, and we’ve also stocked our shelves to meet future requests.

This September, we’re excited to announce our Life After Lockup fundraiser! We’ve partnered with individual prisons to create a library of resources for inmates preparing for release. The transition from incarceration to freedom is often fraught with challenges, as many struggle to find jobs, housing, and access to healthcare. Your support can help us build a vital catalog of resources for health and life planning post-incarceration, offering a lifeline to those striving for a fresh start.
