Rick Moore: Founding Director
Rick Moore has been director of the Claremont Forum since 1986. A counselor and educator, Mr. Moore has had the opportunity to work in a variety of community outreach capacities, including substance and addiction recovery, meditation and wellness programs, as well as life skills development. A longtime resident of Claremont, Mr. Moore has guided and supervised on-going Claremont Forum projects such as the Prison Library Project and the Farmers & Artisans Market.
The Forum’s longevity and consistent commitment to its programs and partners are a cornerstone of the organization’s mission and purpose. Mr. Moore has led the Forum by nurturing programs that focus on communication and community service.

Charlotte Cousins - President
Long time community organizer, Ms. Cousins has led several non-profit organizations and sponsored art and cultural events in the area.

Bobbie Hill - Vice President
Ms. Hill has an extensive professional background in nonprofit management and has helped supervise and coordinate Claremont Forum/PLP activities. Under her leadership, the Forum was able to sponsor the Claremont Farmers & Artisans market, which has become a centerpiece for the Claremont Village and is an asset to both the community and local business.

Barbara Heavin - Treasurer
Barbara Heavin is a local business woman who owns her own tax preparation and financial planning business in Claremont. She’s shared her insight and skills to guide the Prison Library Project and its sponsoring organization, The Claremont Forum; helping to organize and improve internal operations and management. She has extensive knowledge of finances, tax law, and business operations.

Sarah Romo
Ms. Romo, who is a fluent Spanish speaker, will help the PLP work with local agencies in the Spanish-speaking community and extend our community outreach. Active in art and programming events at the Forum, Ms. Romo has excellent managerial skills and assists in the long-term development of the Claremont Forum.

Andrew Trindle
Mr. Trindle works on both the Prison Library Project committee and the Farmers & Artisans Market Committee.

Manager/General Questions
Joey Reyes
Mr. Reyes coordinates volunteers and manages the bookshop and book inventory. He supervises all PLP operations and acts as a coordinator between the sponsoring organization, The Claremont Forum and the volunteers.

Website/Public Relations
Rachel McDonnell
Ms. McDonnell maintains the Claremont Forum and PLP websites, Ways & Means Resource List, as well as helping with PLP promotions, outreach and fundraising.
