February: Art from Inside/Outside Prison Walls

February 1 - February 29

Opening receptions are always the first Saturday of the month, as part of Claremont’s Art Walk. Please stop by the gallery to meet the artist, 6:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Artists Serving Humanity (ASH) will return to the Claremont Forum to display new works by incarcerated or formerly incarcerated artists. This unique show offers a variety of techniques and themes and gives a unique perspective from artists who use their artwork to express dreams, frustrations, fears and fantasies while incarcerated.

The Artists participating in ASH are long term incarcerated or formerly incarcerated and have chosen to make amends to society by donating their art. Please note that this is not an “inmate business” but rather an opportunity allowing artists to use their talents to make a positive contribution to society. A charitable donation is always made with every sale.

The Art of Paños will be the central theme with several other artists featured.  Prints and giclée limited edition artwork available  $10.00 – $100.00
